SkyPoint™ Maui is located on a street named Nahenahe, a Hawaiian word meaning soft and gentle – as in, “The waves today are nahenahe.” You will fall in love with the gentle beauty of our location on the slopes of Haleakala, Maui’s dormant volcano.
Maui Meadows, our diverse and eclectic neighborhood of artists, musicians, and other creatives and professionals, sits 500 feet above the sparkling beaches and extravagant resorts of Wailea-Makena. From your sanctuary perched above the hustle and bustle, you will enjoy the cool breeze and quiet punctuated by chirping birds – and, of course, the stunning panoramic views.
Your nearest beach is Keawakapu, located 1 mile (9 blocks) away – three minutes by car. This is one of many white sand beaches on Maui, and it includes free public parking and showers. Keawakapu is long – it’s part of a miles-long stretch of beautiful beaches, which are world-famous for swimming, paddle boarding, boogie boarding, snorkeling or simply sunbathing. Rentals are available close by for snorkeling gear, stand up paddleboards, kayaks, surfboards, and bikes.
Numerous other world-famous beautiful white sand beaches are within a 5-to-10-minute driving radius, including: Makena Beach (Big Beach and Little Beach), Maluaka Beach, Po’Olenalena Beach, Palauea Beach, Secret Beach, and Charley Young Beach.
The Kihei-Wailea-Makena area has an extensive number of excellent restaurants for all budgets and preferences. Also in the neighborhood are grocery and health food stores, boutiques, farmers' markets, coffee shops, and cafes.
You are staying in one of the sunniest places on the island, and all of our units face the ocean due west for spectacular sunsets and moonsets.
SkyPoint offers a "five-island" view. Kaho'olawe, Lainai, Moloka'i , Maui's easterly mountain Pu'u Kukui, and the tiny island of Molokini can all be seen from the property on a clear day.
Our area is the only part of the state of Hawaii which enjoys the beauty and variety that the "five-island" view provides.
