“My husband and I had a fantastic time at Hutt and Greg’s place. It’s quiet, well appointed, very clean, and has a fantastic view. Great location because you’re close to Kihei and Wailea but away from the crowds and noise. The bed is very comfortable, the bathrooms spacious and well lit, and it was very convenient having laundry in the unit. All appliances were new and worked great. Hutt and Greg were very gracious hosts and quickly responded whenever we had questions or needed anything. I would definitely recommend staying here!”

“If you are on the fence about this place— just go for it! My wife and I just celebrated our Honeymoon here and it was the highlight of our trip and we were sad to leave. The house is AMAZING… beautifully designed and thoughtfully laid out. Everything is as seen in the photos if not better than in the photos. The view from the balcony is stunning, the retractable awning gives you shade in the day time and allows for stargazing at night, the hot tub gets HOT and is very private, the interior is clean and aesthetically wonderful, comfy king size bed, and an excellent shower that felt like you were standing under a waterfall! I could go on and on mentioning the additional accommodations — thoughtful gifts upon arrival, beach chairs and a cooler to take down to the shore — they even helped us set up a massage on site! This place has it all and Hutt and Greg do a tremendous job communicating so you know that they have your back but also give you all the privacy you could want. The hosts embody my wife and I’s reason for preferring Airbnb over hotels — it’s the people you meet who genuinely care that you have a great experience at their place who feel more like friends/family than just business owners. Besides being very sweet and accommodating they also inspire us to have a beautiful place like theirs one day. Amazing! Whole lot of aloha here… 10 out of 10! Mahalo <3”

He communicates extremely well and the views from the deck simply cannot be beat. “We just returned from a week at the guesthouse. When we arrived, we were greeted by Hutt and Greg, who were so gracious and welcoming. They convey the true "Spirit of Aloha". During our stay, we knew they were available for recommendations and assistance (thank you for arranging the on-site massage for me Hutt!), but our stay was a completely private experience. The guesthouse is well appointed. The deep cherry wood, lighting, comfy bedding and original artwork come together to create an amazingly serene environment. The guesthouse contained every convenience you might need. And the lanai is spectacular. Expansive and comfortable, should you want to enjoy a meal outside, take in a book on the couch, or soak in the hot tub behind private curtains. The unobstructed view of the ocean is unparalleled, but we also found the sky view to be equally magical. The elevation is just enough that you feel as if you can touch the stars at night. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and just off the beaten path, but the location is just minutes from a major thoroughfare, wonderful beaches, and a variety of restaurants. We enjoyed seeing the island, but the guesthouse was so comfortable, there were times when we simply chose to stay put and soak in the peaceful surroundings. We would highly recommend. Truly a 5-star experience.

“Easily the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at, you can see from the pictures the apartment is very new and well designed and the views are incredible. Oftentimes stays can appear better in the photos and can disappoint on arrival, certainly not the case here. It would be more accurate to say the photos don't quite do it justice. The apartment was absolutely spotless and well maintained with a well stocked pantry, new cookware and appliances, and many nice touches throughout. “Imagine having your own beautiful home on Maui… complete with a lanai with incredible views AND a large hot tub. This is exactly what you get when you book this incredible place. “Hutt and Greg’s Guest House exceeded all of our expectations. My wife and I left our honeymoon week truly feeling the ‘aloha spirit’ Hutt speaks about during check-in. We loved the space and privacy we felt, it was so much more intimate than a hotel room while only being 5 minutes from Wailea’s beaches and resorts. The view from the deck was magical, both during the day and at night under the stars. We saw a shooting star on our second night outside, countless beautiful sunsets and more than one rainbow. The guesthouse was in what we felt to be an ideal location on the island, driving anywhere felt quick and easy. 5 minutes to the beach, 10 into Kihei for great coffee and breakfast, and within a half hour of the airport, shopping, the aquarium and Maalaea Harbor where most of the snorkel tours leave from. We’re already dreaming about our next trip!”

“Our stay at this Maui guesthouse was amazing. The space was perfect for our honeymoon and we were greeted with true Hawaiian hospitality. The hosts were spectacular and were there if we needed anything! Hutt was very helpful in giving suggestions for luaus and restaurants on the island. The house is immaculate and has great privacy. The home is very well supplied with anything you might need for a beach day or for a date night in. We loved cooking in the kitchen (and jamming to our favorite tunes with the Bluetooth soundbar) and enjoying breakfasts and dinners on the lanai. The sunsets from the deck are incredible… the view is picture perfect! My husband and I most definitely recommend this place for a getaway to Maui. The location is about 1.5 miles from Keawakapu Beach (super clean and great for relaxing) and not more than a 7-9 min drive to Kihei where there are shops, restaurants, and beach access. Absolutely perfect. We loved the location with easy access to the beach and a great jump-off point for island excursions. This is perfect for relaxing with everything you could need. My wife and I visited the Guesthouse to celebrate both a milestone birthday and our 30th anniversary. In the midst of the challenging year that 2021 has been, Hutt and Greg's spirit welcomed us to what became a week of wonderful memories and one of the best vacations ever. The Guesthouse is perfect. The design and amenities will immediately relax the soul. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck nearly every morning, watching as the sky brightened, and listening to the birds. Evenings can be spent enjoying the hot tub and the stars. Sometimes it was a tough choice to explore the beauty of Maui or just relax in the serenity of the guesthouse. Most of all, Hutt and Greg immediately make you feel like long time neighbors or family, even telling us how the beaches were that they visited earlier that morning. We will certainly want to return and have recommended their place to many friends.

This spot was absolutely amazing! Our only concern was the distance to the beach and how easy the access would be, however when we arrived it was perfect! The view and sunset is amazing here. The beach was right down the hill where you can just drive a couple minutes to park and walk straight out onto the beach without having to lug your stuff on a long walk. This place was so cozy and elegant we felt right at home. The hosts are sweet and friendly and I just couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay on our honeymoon. We know exactly where we will be staying in the future next time we come to Maui!

This place place was brilliant! Huge wow factor, beautiful property with an incredible view. 
It had everything we needed and more. Bed was comfy and the shower was great. We cooked in the gourmet kitchen which had all the the gear to make great meals. Location is ideal for getting to the beach quickly or to grab a bite. It was difficult 
to say goodbye to this place.

This place was AMAZING. We can’t wait to come back!! It’s about a 6 minute drive to the nearest (and fabulous) beach (and we didn’t have any issues with parking), some great food nearby, and a Safeway a short drive away. The kitchen is fantastic and better stocked than our kitchen at home (they have a vitamix which was perfect for frozen drinks) and the few is gorgeous. Could not say enough about this place! It was perfect for our honeymoon. Hutt abs Greg were fantastic! Super helpful and kind. Very welcoming. One of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Highly recommend!!

The location is ideal, it is away from the in town noise & traffic. It has beautiful sunsets and vistas with easy access to uncrowded beaches and other island areas of interest. The hosts, Greg and Hutt, were both very accommodating and were interested our having the best experience possible. Hutt's place is a true gem - Exceeds a 5-star accommodation...If it's available you should book now! What's to love: location (quiet as it's not in the resort craziness but close to everything you will need), views (sunset is especially spectacular), immaculately clean (the cleanest AB&B ever), ammenities (super well-stocked kitchen if you want to stay in and cook, vitamix, hot tub, etc.), and above all, the hospitality. Hutt's place is the best Airbnb we have stayed in and we have traveled around the world to over 20 countries. Hutt was extremely thorough when we first checked in and spent nearly an hour talking with us about all of the greatest things to do and places to eat in Maui which was extremely helpful. He is very knowledgeable about the area as he has lived in Maui for 10+ years. The kitchen is very well appointed and has everything you need if you plan on cooking, including a Vitamix blender for perfect smoothies. The unit was very clean and was just a few minutes drive from multiple great beaches and restaurants. Hutt provides beach chairs, cooler and umbrella for the beach which we used almost everyday and found very convenient. We really enjoyed watching the sunset while sitting in the hot tub on the deck after a long day of activities. Overall we loved the place and Maui and look forward to returning.

This is one of those rare places in the world where one instantly feels truly at home and at ease.
Hutt was so friendly and responsive when we inquired about staying at their guesthouse. He made the arrangements to get us booked and kept us updated. Once we arrived, Hutt warmly greeted us and provided us with all of the information needed.
The Sexy Guesthouse was super clean and exactly as pictured - totally awesome views, calming colors, wonderful furnishings, thoughtful amenities (I played the ukulele and Lisa used the binoculars to get a close view of some of the amazing sights). The flat panel TV and Bluetooth linked sound-bar were really nice (but rarely used) distractions. The kitchen was wonderfully outfitted to prepare most any meal that one could imagine. There is a nice half bath adjacent to the kitchen. There were complimentarily sweet and savory snacks, water, coconut water provided. The king-sized bed with medium and soft pillows was super comfortable and the bathroom was great (even a selection of sunscreens was available). Miss Lisa used the washer dryer in the bathroom to wash some of her favorite shirts. The hot-tub with a the privacy curtains was an amazing feature that Lisa and I used either in the morning and/or evening. Soaking in warm water, watching the stars was pure perfection - ahhhhhh. The view from the outdoor table and seating was amazingly relaxing. The views of the West side of Maui and the ocean were breathtaking. A couple of evenings we shot time frame sunset videos from the deck while eating dinner.
This special experience will joyfully resonate within us for years. it is funny, but the Sexy Guesthouse was as much of "a star" as Maui for our vacation get-away. Admittedly, this rental is a splurge - but is sooo worth it!

Wow! My husband and I have been to Maui 10+ times and we've NEVER stayed somewhere so nice with such hospitable hosts. From before we even landed to after we left, there was warm and comforting communication. When we walked into the condo we were immediately at ease, felt at home, and it was the most wonderful backdrop to an exhausting year of quarantine. The private jacuzzi was perfect for cool nights stargazing and hot morning relaxing soaks. Next time we visit Maui we will absolutely rebook.

From the incredible view and outdoor space with hot tub to the king-size bed and luxury kitchen and bathrooms, this guest house was perfect for us. Fully stocked with high-end everything provided for a worry-free, relaxing, home-like stay. Grocery, shopping and restaurants are super close. Five minutes from the beach, local dining and experiences. Hutt and Greg are fantastic hosts, concierge, and guides. You can tell they really enjoy hosting and love Maui. Can't wait to return.

This is no ordinary Airbnb. A stay with Hutt at the Sky Guesthouse is much more like visiting your uncles who want nothing more than to spoil you! Five stars doesn’t even begin to explain how well you’ll be taken care of here.
A very private space with views that never get old. Every detail is obsessed over and is as well-stocked as your own home. Full kitchen with quality cookware and dishes and spices. The location, between Kehei and Wailea, is really great. There are a half dozen incredible beaches within 15 minutes. Within 10 minutes are multiple grocery stores and good eats. The weather was a perfect sunny 85 degrees for the entire 5 weeks I was here. We enjoyed dips in the hot tub every night, gazing out at the stars and Milky Way.
We booked with Hutt when Covid-19 was just starting to send the world into chaos, and Hutt went above and beyond every step of the way to support us in getting to the island safely and on-time. He went out of his way to talk with the mayor’s office and keep us in the loop as travel restrictions evolved with regular updates by email, text, and phone. He really went to great lengths to make this a perfect trip.
Book this place with no hesitation. I know I will next time I get a chance to visit Maui!

Hutt’s place was amazing! My boyfriend and I both wished we could just move in and stay forever. The view makes you never want to leave and Hutt’s and Greg’s hospitality is top notch. We had a wonderful time at Sky Guest House in South Kihei.
The Sky Guest House is on the second floor, and you have the entire place to yourself. You enter into the living room, which has a smart TV for your streaming needs. The kitchen has all the amenities and a beautiful kitchen bar, with a nice ½ bath. You then go into your spacious bedroom and full bathroom and have a bunch of closet space to use. You walk out onto the deck from your bedroom and have a nice spa to relax and enjoy the views of the ocean. We spent some mornings and every night on the deck looking at the stars. It is a wonderful area to relax in.
The entire place is gorgeous; this is a must to relax and get away. No need to have the hassle of the hotel resort life, get to this location to enjoy quiet time.
We also recommend the Maui Brewing Company, if you enjoy a great beer like we do. Enjoy the beer and try the calamari and also get the huli sauce chicken wings!

Hutt’s place is better than described. We were in awe of the view and amenities. He was available but gave use privacy. We spent nine wonderful days here. We played three rounds of Scrabble on the deck as the sun set. We baked cookies and rented a movie, camping out on the living room floor with big pillows. STOP SEARCHING! You found it! This is THE place to stay in Maui. The guesthouse is so well made and designed that you will want to live there forever. We got to spend 4 wonderful nights at SkyPoint. Every morning we made breakfast and sat on the lanai looking out over the Maui coastline. In the distance you can see hints of the other islands as well as west Maui sweeping out to the right. The location is excellent, removed enough from the resorts to feel like you are living like a local, while still close enough to all the major resorts and beaches in Wailea. The views from the lanai are amazing and we made a point to be back before sunset every night because it is perfect having dinner while watching the sun go down. Even better is when it gets completely dark and the stars come out. We spent a ton of time just looking up in amazement. We even got to see the milky way (Thanks Hutt for the tip). Speaking of which, Hutt is a wonderful host. He met us upon our arrival and gave us a quick tour of the space. He even sent us a list of top recommendations for places to eat as well as all the best beaches. He is reliable and made sure that anything we needed was taken care off. They do live on the property but the way the entire place has been designed and built makes it feel like you are completely on your own. But if you need any help Hutt is there to take care of it. On the first morning the smoke alarms battery started dying so it kept beeping every 10 mins or so. We mentioned it to Hutt and while we were gone he replaced the battery. We never had to worry about it again. Honestly this place was the highlight of our trip. We spent another three nights afterwards at the Hotel Wailea relais chateau (also a very nice hotel) but the whole time missed SkyPoint. Next time we will spend our entire vacation here! Thank you Hutt for an amazing experience, we will be back!

We had the most amazing stay at Hutt’s place! The photos are great but its even better in person! We spent every evening lounging on the gorgeous patio, watching the sun set. The view is beyond-words beautiful. The house is cozy and had everything we needed for a great stay - the kitchen is stocked with every cooking tool imaginable, dishes, wine glasses, everything! Huge fridge for all of your vacay treats and a dishwasher to help you clean up. Great shower and lots of towels too - including beach towels which was awesome. The location in the hills is fabulous - its a residential neighborhood so very private and out of the touristy stuff. However you’re a short drive from lots of great restaurants and shops. Safeway and Foodland nearby. Many beautiful beaches a short drive away too - Hutt shared a list of favorites and we visited all of them - they were spot on! The hot tub was also great - at night the stars really come out so don’t forget to look up! Hutt was also a perfect host - easy to communicate with and an overall first rate guy to deal with in every way. Thank you Hutt! Mahalo!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to spend our honeymoon week at Sky Point Guesthouse in Maui. The hosts, Hutt and Greg, are wonderful. Check in was superb, they provide a lot of information about things to do and places to see on Maui, and are easily reachable if any issues arise. The guesthouse is situated just above Kihei on the hill and you can be down to the beach and to many great restaurants in a 5-10 minute drive. The house itself was very clean, bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked if you decide to do any cooking in. We found a great book in the living room entertainment center called "Maui Revealed" which was very helpful for planning some of our excursions around Maui. The lanai was probably our favorite part of the house. It is great to enjoy any time of day. You can sit outside and enjoy breakfast at the table with beautiful views of the morning ocean, put the awning out and enjoy afternoons with the wonderful Maui breeze, and enjoy the hot tub at night under a star filled sky. We would definitely recommend Sky Point guesthouse to anyone looking to visit Maui!

This place has it all!! If you are looking for a romantic and relaxing place to call home while staying in Maui, this is it! Don't look at any other places! My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and Hutt and Greg went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and at home! Communication was quick and friendly from the start. They made sure to answer all of our questions and more. We were provided with local recommendations for all sorts of food and fun activities. The guest house is packed with extras that you just won't find at other places. It includes a full kitchen. We cooked breakfast in the morning which was a great wait to slowly start our day. We were able to do laundry which minimized what we needed to bring. Avaipable for use are some Beach chairs and an umbrella for the beach days! Our favorite though was the hot tub on the private deck with privacy curtains. It was amazing relaxing outside at night under the amazing star-filled sky!! The pictures are true to what you get. We had high expectations and they were exceeded! The location is incredible also! We loved staying in a real neighborhood, but still only a few minutes drive from the beach! And the view of the Maui sunset is priceless. If we ever return to Maui we hope this place is free so we can enjoy it again! Book this now if you want to have a truly magical experience in Maui!!

It is on the top floor of a house with a great view of the ocean and mountains from the lanai or from the hot tub. All we can say is WOW. We booked this space for our honeymoon on the beautiful island of Maui and we had the BEST time. There isn't a single thing we would change. I wish I could give more than 5 stars to Hutt and the very extraordinary accommodations at Sky Point. My husband and I just finished our stay, and it was with much regret that we did not reserve it for more days! From the moment we arrived, to the warm and wonderful wave goodbye from Hutt, we treasured every moment. It is not only the very beautiful space and attention to detail, but also the superlative hospitality that Hutt extends. He responds immediately if any question comes up and also provides fabulous recommendations for restaurants etc (do NOT miss the mai tais and pies at the nearby Monkeypod Kitchen!) He was always available to help, but was also mindful of of never disturbing our privacy and the serenity Sky Point provides. Hot tub under the stars, well-equipped kitchen if you want to do some cooking, deck sofa from which to watch the ocean colors change in the early morning while sipping coffee....our time there felt like it was time in a home of our own, perched on a lush hillside, serenaded by birds and rustling palms. This is our second booking with Hutt. As was our first experience staying in the studio in 2016, the sky guesthouse was equally amazing! We love the location in South Maui and knew we'd be in good hands. Communication was prompt, the space was very clean, and thoughtful touches were appreciated. One touch in particular that was very much appreciated, since we enjoy snorkeling every day, were the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler that comes with the unit to borrow. The water faucet outside to wash off sand is also very helpful. We also enjoyed listening to music through his speakers we could connect via BlueTooth in the evenings. There’s so much to love about this home and its amazing hosts - these are just a few highlights: The home is exquisite. As part of the review process it asks the primary reason for the rating given, choosing from options such as hospitality, location of the rental property, amenities, sleak design, personal touches, cleanliness, etc. It was hard to only choose one, as they all applied equally. The hosts personally designed the property themselves and it is nothing short of amazing. They have thought of so many small personal touches, it is clear that the comfort of their guests is of utmost importance to them. The home is immaculate and the bed is comfortable, which are two aspects I look for more than anything when choosing a property for my vacation. The property itself sits in the hills above Kihei, so away from the crowds, but only a quick 5 - 10 minute drive from beaches, restaurants, etc. We just loved the quietness, the privacy, and not to mention the amazing views. If there was an option for 10 stars that would be a lot more accurate. This was an amazing stay! My wife and I spent a week for our honeymoon and it was truly magical. They made our stay so special. They had a list of recommendations ready for us in advance for anything we needed to make reservations for and gave us all of the best food wherever we were on the island. The activities were great recommendations for us and there was nothing better than the sunsets. Every night we made sure to make it back to the balcony to watch it set, it was breathtaking and exciting every evening. This place is a must if you’re looking to stay outside the resorts. The attention to detail is spot on. Martin was extremely helpful and responsive to anything I asked, as well as Hutt made sure I had everything I needed to know before we arrived. Overall 5 Stars - Stayed 3 nights Pros: Location & communication with the owner/manager. Cons: None (seriously!). If Airbnb needs an example of the perfect rental, this would be it. To start, the space was spotless and had everything. The bathroom had everything my girlfriend needed including a blow drier, shampoo, body wash and one of those mirrors that makes her tell me all about her pores. In my opinion, you'll need a car if you rent here. Generally speaking, you'll need a rental car to move around Maui no matter where you choose to stay. Nighttime... 5 minutes to Monkeypod & The Four Seasons for some happy hour cocktails. Kihei is close too with plenty of inexpensive dining options, check out the fresh tuna at Three's Bar & Grill or Breakfast at Nalu's. A seven minute drive to a grocery store for the essentials. The owner provided the beach gear for a day Big Beach (15ish minute drive). Make sure to stop by a food truck along the road for lunch during your day at the beach. Overall, fantastic experience. You will not be disappointed with this rental.

Hutt's place is the perfect retreat while staying in Maui. Set back into the hills away from the commotion of all the tourists and hotels, it is convenient to just about anything you will want to do around Wailea and feels like a luxurious private retreat. We loved eating breakfast on the patio and taking advantage of the hot tub. The space itself is beautiful, and the attention to detail was high. I especially liked all of the light dimmers. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family coming to Maui.

This place was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon. It was in a quiet, private neighborhood surrounded by spectacular views. The location made it easy to travel around the island of Maui. We couldn’t appreciate more the helpful suggestions of activities, restaurants and sights left for us. Martin checked in with us to make sure everything was running smoothly but gave us our privacy to enjoy our time. We were sad to leave and can’t wait to come back one day to stay here again. Our stay exceeded our highest expectations! The view is stunning, the architecture superb, each detail well thought out, and the host top-notch. We chose to stay here for our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place or location. Each morning we ate breakfast while watching the sun rise over the ocean and whales breach. It was magic. At night, the hot tub was perfect for stargazing. For those who love to cook, the kitchen has high-quality appliances and is well-stocked. We had the most amazing 8 nights staying in your airbnb. Such a first class place. My hubby really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck and I was obsessed with the view. This was only our second time staying in an airbnb and I know we are unlikely to stay anywhere quite so amazing. The place was really well equiped and the decor is outstanding. If you like to cook on vacation (I only assemble meals) you are in for a treat as I doubt there is anything missing from such a well equiped kitchen. The bed is super comfortable and I enjoyed showering and looking out at the tops of palm trees. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking forward to a quiet and special place in which to enjoy your vacation. There is really nothing that hasn't been thought of or provided for you to use.

You will not regret staying here! If you love what you are seeing online then you will love it. Everything looked just like the pictures. Hutt’s place was everything we’d hoped for and more! We had a wonderful stay at the Sky Guest House. The space is modern and very well decorated. The bed was very comfortable and wow - did we love those pillows. The kitchen is fantastic, so well equipped if you want to stay in and cook for an evening. Plenty of pots and pans and dinnerware, knives for chopping and spices galore. The view from the lanai is so beautiful. We ate breakfast every morning while admiring the view of the West Maui mountains and the water. Greg and Hutt were attentive to our needs and made sure they were available if we needed their help. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Greg and Hutt. You have an amazing place!!

Stayed here for our honeymoon after getting married in Makena and it was amazing! My husband and I were looking for somewhere private yet still close to the beach, stores and highway. The unit was extremely stylish and upscale: large fully stocked kitchen with granite counter tops and dark wood cabinets which close softly, two HUGE TVs, two air conditioners, beautiful master bedroom & bathroom, additional powder room, washer & dryer with detergent, thoughtfully placed decorations and artwork, and of course the hot tub with curtains you can pull close for extra privacy. I highly recommend staying here over any of the luxury hotels in Wailea and we will definitely be staying here again when we come back to visit Maui.

If all airbnb's are like this, then I'll never book another hotel again. To say our experience was wonderful is simply selling it short. The place was absolutely stunning, the pictures don't do it enough justice. The view was spectacular, place was clean and well stocked, and finer touches such as welcome snacks and a walk through of the location made it all the better. I greatly appreciated Hutt's well thought out recommendation list which showcased best restaurants around the island, activities and must see's. This AirBnb was everything and more! Hutt gave us a great list of recommended activities to do on Maui and I don't know what I would have done without it. The apartment itself was nothing short of fabulous. It was super clean, had every amenity I could think of and was extremely stylish. Sky Guesthouse was incredible, on par with the penthouse suite we stayed at during our wedding. The attention to detail in the guesthouse is truly unparalleled from any Airbnb my husband and I have stayed at. Private hot tub, soft close drawers/cabinets, beautiful tile and stone shower, recessed lighting, it was truly spectacular (and private!). In addition, their property manager Martin was fantastic and provided several recommendations which made our stay sublime. The unit had a cooler and umbrella for travel use, along with a full kitchen with everything you'd need to make dinner. This is truly a spectacular place, and a property you would pay hundreds more if staying at a hotel. We can't say enough great things about Sky Guesthouse, and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maui!

Stayed for our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was a great choice! More private than a hotel and tons of space just for the two of us! Including 2 giant TVs (if you need that). Great view of the ocean and we loved the very modern architecture and design (they thought of everything). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Martin was there to greet us when we arrived, and was easy to find anytime we had any question. Everything is top quality from the spectacular ocean view to the furniture, decorations and home details (including Ralph Lauren bed linens). The location is very quiet and peaceful, and no hotel can match having a jacuzzi all to ourselves while looking out over Maui. Highly recommended, especially over staying somewhere like Four Seasons.

I loved my stay at Hutt's home! Although I didn't meet Hutt personally, he was prompt and friendly in our communication before my stay and provided a fantastic guide to the area with lots of great recommendations from places to eat to beaches to laze by and also more touristy things to do. However in his place was Martin, as the Property Manager as my host and he was warm and friendly, had lots of great local recommendations and accommodating and prompt in my questions and request. The home itself is the perfect size for a couple or single traveller. The hot tub is a great bonus, but the best thing is the balcony, the views over the ocean and the perfect place to see the sunset. I could have spent all day out on the balcony, and there's a convenient awning which you can roll over to keep you shaded during the hotter parts of the day. The amenities were top class and what you would get in a 5 star hotel. There's a washing machine and dryer which is a bonus if you need to wash your clothes and beach gear (umbrella, cooler, boogie board etc) that you can borrow. I would highly recommend a stay at Hutt's home, whether for a special occasion, or just to spoil yourself!! I hope to be back one day!

This is one of those rare gems that turns out to better then advertised. The place is beautifully built & well appointed. The bed is super comfy & luscious & nothing is missing from the kitchen or any other room in the house. It's super close to our favorite beaches & offers a stunning view to fall asleep & wake up to. After searching for hours and finding only boring condo complexes with hotel liquidator furniture I thought...hmmm...what what can I do to refine my search...then I hit on it..and typed in the words "sexy cottage' and BINGO up pops Hutts "Private Sexy Guesthouse". We could not have been happier. This place is ideal for a couple who want privacy, custom deluxe appointments, woodwork, original art and very close to all the good things of Wailea. Like the hidden gem Little Beach is 10 minutes away. And snorkeling in lovely coves with lots of turtles and fish is even closer. The big resorts and their gracious surroundings, lounges and restaurants are a few minutes away if you want them. Although cooking in the well appointed granite and rosewood kitchen is a pleasure we enjoyed everyday. The view from the lanai is all ocean and islands and there are birds and breezes and a beautiful ten foot sliding door opens out to it all. We're musicians so when we closed the doors and windows and turned on the AC we had a private studio to work in. Easy and quick to go out and back from the beach and it's on the dry side of Maui. Our hosts did what we hoped they'd do, left us alone except when we called for advice or to print our boarding passes and they were right there to help. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at Hutt’s guest house! The unit is modern, well-designed, and almost makes you want to stay inside all day. We felt very much at home with the spacious living room, well-appointed kitchen, and comfortable bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking tools you will ever need—you just need to bring the ingredients. We cooked a few meals and enjoyed them on the lanai, where the views are unbeatable. Even though the guest house is behind the main property, you still get an unobstructed view of the ocean and a clear view of the sky. We took advantage of it every night to watch the sunset and see the stars. The house itself is situated very close to the beach, resorts (Grand Wailea, Four Seasons, and Andaz), and restaurants. A lot of activities are within a convenient 5- to 10-minute drive from the house. Hutt and Greg were such friendly hosts, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We communicated with Hutt throughout our stay, and he was always helpful and responsive. Both of them were very easy to talk to, which made our stay that much better. There’s no doubt that the next time we come back to Maui, we will stay at one of their units. We just hope that it won’t be booked!
